BREAKING:  Gas Pipeline Explodes in Delta | Daily Report Nigeria

A leaking gas pipeline has reportedly exploded in Mosogar, along the Warri/Benin Expressway in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to sources in the community, the incident is said to caused residents to desert the community after a leaking gas pipeline exploded

Details as to why the gas pipeline exploded are still sketchy at the time of this report.

Indigenes and residents have deserted their homes for fear of a fire outbreak.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident.

The Police image maker said the gas pipeline exploded as a result of leakage.

“They said it is not vandalization. They said it’s pipeline leakage that caused it.”
