BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Checkpoint in Enugu, Kill 2 Police Officers | Daily Report Nigeria

Gunmen on Sunday, attacked a security checkpoints in Enugu State, killing two police officers.

It was learnt that the gunmen launched the attack at a police checkpoint close to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC.

According to a source, the gunmen took officers who were on stop and search unaware.

A video currently trending on social media shows two of the officers lying in a pool of their blood.

The Enugu State Police Command is yet to issue any statement on the incident.
