Breaking: Gunmen Murder Community President General in Delta

Ovwian Community President General, Alfred Urhukpe murdered

Unknown gunmen have murdered the President General of Ovwian community in Udu local government area of Delta state, Alfred Urhukpe.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered Alfred was shot dead late Wednesday night, March 24, 2021, by his assailants.

While condemning the murder of the community leader, Acting President of the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights, Comrade Kehinde Taiga, revealed that another youth was also shot dead on Tuesday in the community.

Comrade Taiga attributed the rising murder cases to the activities of daredevil cultists in the area.

The Delta Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, stated he was yet to be briefed on the incident by officers in Udu local government area.

While details of Alfred’s murder were still sketchy as at press time, Ovwian community has since been thrown to mourning over the incident.
