The 10th Senate leadership has generously donated 109 million naira to the victims affected by the unfortunate mistaken army air strike in Tudun Biri village, located in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, made the announcement during a condolence visit to Governor Uba Sani at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House on Sunday.
Jibrin explained that the donation, equivalent to their December salaries, is intended for the welfare of the victims.
Expressing deep sympathy for the Kaduna State government and the people of Tudun Biri community, the Deputy Senate President, representing Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, pledged that the National Assembly would collaborate closely with the Presidency to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accidental bombing of innocent civilians.

The goal, he said, is to prevent such a tragic event from happening again.
Governor Sani, in turn, expressed gratitude to the senators for their empathetic response to the victims of the military airstrike.
He urged the National Assembly to actively support the Federal Government in conducting a thorough inquiry into the bomb incident.
Also, he appealed to federal legislators to consider reviewing the proposal for the establishment of state police, which would enhance security management across the country.
