Real name Alex Nderi, the deceased worked at the popular Capital FM.
DJ Lithium committed suicide in the office premises by taking some Rat Poison. On discovery, he was rushed to Nairobi hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

DJ Lithium was a well-known music lover for his ability to play all types of music from Hip hop to RnB.
Before he committed suicide, he deleted all his social media posts leaving only pieces of his music mixes behind and a suicide note.
A colleague at work cited family issues as one of the reasons Nderi took his life.
He bagged himself the stage name due to his love for Chemistry.
Many Kenyans have been left baffled by his sudden death.
