River State All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Tonye Cole was on Thursday disqualified by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.
Cole’s disqualification was based on dual citizenship suit pressed against him.
Tonye Cole is said to be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
The court also ruled that the APC did not comply with the Electoral Act that brought in Cole as the candidate of the party.
