BREAKING: Rivers Governorship Candidates Protest Against Wike | Daily Report Nigeria

Four governorship candidates of some political parties in Rivers State on Friday, staged a protest at the State Police headquarters.

The candidates were protesting against an alleged intimidation by Governor Nyesom Wike ahead of Saturday’s election.

They also alleged that their members and supporters were being harassed and arrested by security agencies for failing to work for Wike

The four aggrieved candidates have called for the immediate release of all those arrested within the political period.

The candidates are Senator Magnus Abe of the Social Democratic Party, Tonye Cole, All Progressives Congress, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Accord, and Tonte Ibraye, African Democratic Congress.
