President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the African Counter-Terrorism Summit in Abuja on Monday.

The ongoing event, organized by Nigeria with support from the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, focuses on strengthening regional cooperation and institution building to address the evolving threat of terrorism in Africa.

It will end on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with the theme: “Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Institution Building to Address the Evolving Threat of Terrorism.”

Notable attendees include Mr Vladimir Voronkov, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, H E Patrice Talon, President of the Republic of Benin, amongst others.
