BREAKING: Truck Crushes Over 15 Pupils to Death in Lagos

At least fifteen pupils have been crushed to death by a hit-and-run truck driver in Lagos State.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the incident occurred along Isheri Road, just before the Ojodu Police Station.

The tragic incident occurred while the pupils were on their way home after closing time.

While attempting to cross the road, the truck rammed on them, leaving over 15 dead on the spot.

Witnesses say the driver was chased all the way to Ogba area before he was arrested.

“I have never witnessed such a terrible scene in my life. I saw about 15 pupils lying lifeless on the floor. The incident occurred around 2 pm,” a commercial motorcyclist told Punch.

The incident led to a riot in the area as policemen fired tear gas canisters to disperse the angry crowd.
