Governor Nyesom Wike’s team in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have pulled out of the Atiku’s Presidential Campaign activities.
This came after a meeting on Wednesday morning in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
It was gathered that members of the Rivers State Governor’s team during the meeting vowed not to play any role in Atiku’s campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections.
They insisted that the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, must resign for them to partake in the Presidential campaign activities of the party.
Recall that Governor Wike had called for Ayu’s resignation following the outcome of the party’s presidential primary wich produce Atiku Abubakar as its Presidential candidate.
