Moses Simon, Ademola Lukman, Terem Moffi, Emmanuel Dennis and Oghenekaro Etebo all wrote their names on the score sheet as the Eagles matched on without stop.

The win leaves the Nigerian team top of Group A, having secured a 2-1 home win against Sierra Leone at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Thursday.

Prior to Monday’s encounter, Nigeria’s biggest win was when the Super Eagles thrashed West African neighbours, Benin Republic 10-1 in 1959.
