Buhari Decides on Reopening of Worship Centers Today | Daily Report Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari will today decide on the reopening of worship centres nationwide. During a joint meeting between the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the President on Sunday, issues concerning the next phase of reopening of sectors in the country were discussed.

According to the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha noted that one of the recommendations submitted to the President was that Nigeria would enter the second phase of the battle against coronavirus.

He enjoined states government to manage the pandemic in respective states with the support and coordination from the Federal Government.

On the reopening of worship centres, he stated that the president’s approval on the recommendations submitted was still pending for approval before the next action would be announced.

Mustapha said that the ownership of the next phase will be that of various states, traditional institutions, LGA’s, and the religious leaders at the various level of communities.

Buhari’s approval on the recommendations submitted will be expected today, as said by Mustapha.
