Others who joined in the meeting were the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mr Godwin Emefiele; the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Lucky Irabor; and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa.

It was learnt that the President put off the initial meeting scheduled with all the Governors as a result of the court case instituted against the Federal Government and the CBN by Kaduna, Kogi and Zamfara state governors.

The affected states are seeking for a restraining order to stop the full implementation of the naira redesign policy which they believe have resulted in cash crunch across the country.
