Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the most successful manager in the history of the Champions League.

This victory marks Ancelotti’s fifth Champions League title overall, having previously won twice with AC Milan.
His Champions League triumphs include victories with Milan in 2003 and 2007, and with Real Madrid in 2014, 2022, and now 2024.
Following Ancelotti on the list of the Champions League/European Cup’s most successful managers are Pep Guardiola, Zinedine Zidane, and Liverpool’s Bob Paisley, all tied on three titles each.
Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson have both claimed the prestigious trophy twice during their managerial careers.
