Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has firmly stated that he has no intention of leaving the club next year.

Despite having the opportunity to go out on loan, Casadei chose to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.

Although he has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this season, having been an unused substitute on two occasions, he did play the full 90 minutes in Chelsea’s impressive 5-0 victory over Barrow in the League Cup.

Cesare Casadei explained, “I’m not thinking of leaving Chelsea in January, not at all. It was my decision to stay and not go out on loan after speaking with Maresca. I never planned to leave permanently; I always wanted to play for Chelsea, one of the biggest teams in the world.”
