The Ijaw Youth Council, Olodiama Clan has described foremost Niger Delta freedom fighter, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo as a “living legend.”
The accolades was part of a congratulatory message to the warlord over the award of pipeline surveillance contract to him by the federal government.
In a statement on Saturday signed by its Chairman, Comrade Sam Ebiwana, the youths noted that Tompolo was most deserving of the contract.

“We congratulate our leader, living legend, living Hero of Niger Delta, the piller of Ijaw nation on his well deserved appointment /contraction of pipeline surveillance.
“We know and are very much sure that giving Tompolo the pipeline surveillance contract will further l attract more investors or developer to Niger Delta, and the region will enjoy more peace.
“Our pipelines are in safe hands by virtue this contract given to Tompolo.”
The group further showed appreciation to all and sundry who have remained standing with the former militant leader.
