Chelsea, Bayern Battle For Ronaldo as Man United Set Price Tag

Christian Ronaldo earlier this week announced his desire to play in the Champions League and informed Manchester United about his intention to leave the club if a suitable offer is received.

Manchester United have further set a price for the veteran star as The Times reports that United would be willing to listen to offers if suitors come up with at least the £12.9m they paid Juventus for his services last August,

Romaldo, 37, scored 24 goals across all competitions, including 18 in the Premier League, despite enduring a tough season under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Ralf Ragnnick.
Chelsea have the financial capacity to sign Ronaldo with owner Todd Boehly recently holding talks with his agent Jorge Mendes.

However, its unlikely that Ronaldo will be joining Chelsea because of the close rivalry between the two clubs and also whether or not he would fit Tuchel’s high press system.

This makes Bayern Munich the only viable option for the 5-time Ballon d’or winner.

Italian clubs, Napoli and AS Roma have all been linked with the superstar but nothing concrete yet.
