Chelsea remain interested in signing Victor Osimhen and are keen to bring the Nigerian international to Stamford Bridge this summer. According to Caught Offside, Osimhen is highly sought after, and Chelsea are still in the running to acquire him.

However, Napoli’s reported €130 million release clause for the 24-year-old striker could be a significant hurdle in any potential deal.

Osimhen is now considered one of the most lethal strikers in world football, and Chelsea are in the market for a new forward to help them climb back to the top of the table. Last season, Nicolas Jackson failed to meet fans’ expectations, and Romelu Lukaku spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at AS Roma, with no plans for his return to Stamford Bridge.

Despite recent rumors, Caught Offside reports that Arsenal are not pursuing Osimhen. The striker and Napoli have agreed that he could leave the club this summer.

Interestingly, Napoli are considering Romelu Lukaku as a possible replacement for Osimhen, which could potentially benefit Chelsea in their pursuit of the Nigerian star.
