Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Servette in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League play-off.

Despite finishing sixth in the Premier League, the Blues found themselves in the competition because Manchester United won the FA Cup, claiming the final Europa League spot.

In the match at Stamford Bridge, The Blues struggled to break down the Swiss side in the first half. However, Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring in the second half with his first goal of the season from the penalty spot. Noni Madueke then doubled Chelsea’s lead with a powerful shot from a tight angle using his weaker right foot.
