Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen has gained momentum as Napoli has lowered their demands for the striker. According to The Times, Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna recently met with Chelsea officials in London to negotiate a potential deal.

The report suggests that Napoli is willing to accept an offer of £38.5 million plus Romelu Lukaku and Cesare Casadei in exchange for Victor Osimhen. Napoli is keen on acquiring Lukaku but is unable to meet Chelsea’s £40 million asking price. Instead, they have proposed a more intricate swap deal involving Lukaku and Casadei.

Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli this summer, having expressed his desire to move on from the club.
