A group of corps members have escaped death after a walk of their female hoatel collapse.
According to reports, the female corps members who were deployed to Ekiti State were rescued by their male counterparts after a walk of the female hoatel of the National Youth Services Corps (NYSC) orientation camp collapsed on them.

Speaking on the incident, and eyewitness said:
”Yes the wall of one of the female hostels collapsed this morning (Friday) . It was the bathroom wall which caved in when they were planning to take their bath.
” But thank God, people rushed down there to retrieve them from the rubbles. They have been stabilized at the clinic and they will get further medical treatments.”
Also speaking ok the incident, an official of the NYSC said only two corp members were affected by the collapse, and they’ve been taken to the camp’s clinic, where they are currently receiving treatment.
He added that there had been constant calls to the heads of the NYSC in Ekiti State for the renovation, but it all proved abortive.

He called on parents and guardians not to panic over the incident, adding that it had no serious negative impact on the corps members.
