Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has acknowledged that he doesn’t have “many years left in football.”

Ronaldo made this admission after scoring twice in Portugal’s 3-0 friendly win over the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday night.

At 39, he aims to maintain his scoring form heading into this summer’s tournament, hoping to win the trophy again after his 2016 triumph.

However, Ronaldo is aware that his opportunities to win more trophies with his country are limited.

“I don’t have many years left in football, so I have to enjoy it,” Ronaldo said. “I’m in love with football. Every game is special, and playing at the Euros with Portugal is a dream, just like when I was 20.”
