Former Tottenham Hotspurs star, Mousa Dembele has said that he will quit playing football at the expiration of his current deal with Guangzhou FC.
The 34-year-old revealed this following the morning reports that he had retired already.
The Belgian player resorted to social media to debunk the rumour about his future.

Having shown gratefulness to his followers, the ex-Fulham star also revealed his decision to spend one more year before he retires from football.
Dembele sealed a move to Chinese side in 2019 after spending seven-year at Tottenham.

Dembele briefly retorted: ‘Hi everyone, first of all I would like to thank you for all the nice messages I have received. To clear up, I haven’t stopped yet.”
“I still have a year on my contract left. But I can already share I will stop my career after this year is finished. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Dembele who had represented his country, Belgium on 82 outings had netted five goals.
