Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his belief that Toni Kroos still has a few years left in football despite the German midfielder’s recent retirement announcement.

Ronaldo shared his thoughts on Kroos’s decision during a conversation with Rio Ferdinand on his UR Cristiano YouTube channel. He acknowledged that while Kroos has chosen to retire, he still thinks Kroos could have continued playing for a few more years.

Kroos decided to retire at the end of last season after a successful stint with Real Madrid, where he won both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. He also retired from international football following Germany’s exit from Euro 2024 in the quarter-finals.

Cristiano Ronaldo commented, “Kroos’s retirement? It’s his choice, and we have to respect it. I personally believe he could have played a few more years, but that’s his decision.”
