Cross River Police Rescues Pregnant Teens From Alleged Baby Factory

The Cross River State Police Command has rescued no fewer less than 3 pregnant women and 2 babies from an alleged baby factory in the state.

Confirming this, State Commissioner of Police, CP Abdulkadir Jimoh, said that a team of led policemen by him rescued the victims when they ransacked the residence of one Madam Ima-Obong Asuquo in Obot Udonna village, Akampa Local Government Area of Cross River state.

He further disclosed that the rescue mission occurred following a tip-off.

Three pregnant teenagers identified as Blessing Solomon (21), Blessing Okon (19), and Blessing Francis (19), were rescued during the operation.

Two children also, Bright Solomon (2) and Michael Etim (7), were rescued.

Further investigations has commenced as the prime suspect has confessed to the crimes.
