The lawmaker representing Akpabuyo State constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Lady Elizabeth Edem Ironbar has died.
Lady Iranbor was serving her second term as a member of the Assembly until her demise.
she was first inaugurated as a legislature into the 9th Assembly in June 2015.

Her demise was confirmed by family sources on Wednesday morning.

Efa Esua, a fellow lawmaker representing Calabar Municipality constituency further confirmed her death.
Family sources say the late lawmaker died from a protracted illness.
Lady Iranbor is the second Cross River State House of Assembly member to die, following the demise of Godwin Akwaji in June 2020.
Godwin Akwaji represented the Obudu State constituency until his death.
