David De Gea, the former Manchester United goalkeeper, is currently in discussions with two Saudi Pro League clubs for a potential return to professional football.

According to sports journalist Rudy Galetti, the 33-year-old has engaged in talks with Al-Shabab and another undisclosed Saudi Pro League team.

De Gea has been a free agent since his contract with United expired at the end of the 2022/2023 season. The Spanish goalkeeper departed Old Trafford after a 12-year tenure, originally joining from Atletico Madrid at the age of 21.

Despite initially struggling in England, David De Gea quickly endeared himself to fans and became a key figure for United. However, his form dipped in recent seasons, leading manager Erik ten Hag to opt for Andre Onana as his replacement.
