Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, shared a vision his father, Deji Adeleke, once had about him during a conversation at his wedding on Tuesday. According to Davido, his father mentioned having a vision where he saw Davido ending his music career as a gospel singer.
“In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I asked, ‘What vision?’ He replied, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music career as a gospel singer’,” Davido revealed during the chat with guests.
Davido’s wedding at Eko Hotel and Suites attracted a diverse array of dignitaries, including his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos) and Alex Otti (Abia).

Other notable attendees included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. Celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Ini Edo, PSquare, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, Obi Cubana, and others were also present, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting the event.
