Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido was seen among other top artists at Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour concert in Atlanta, Georgia.

Asake’s sold-out show at the 17,000-capacity State Farm Arena kicked off on August 16, 2024, and will continue for 10 days. A trending social media video shows Davido backstage with American rapper Quavo, showing support for Asake during his performance.

The event also drew Nigerian artist Zlatan and American rapper Russ Millions. Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour will span six U.S. cities, including New York’s Madison Square Garden, Houston’s Toyota Center, and Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

The tour follows the release of Asake’s latest hit, ‘Lungu Boy,’ which features artists such as Wizkid, Central Cee, Stormzy, Travis Scott, and Ludmilla. The track has set a new record for the biggest opening week on Spotify Nigeria, with 18.9 million streams, surpassing the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s ‘Timeless.’
