Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, father of popular singer Davido, has donated a staggering N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in honour of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke.

The donation was made during a thanksgiving service held at the church’s headquarters in Lagos on Sunday.

Adeleke presented the donation to the Centenary Endowment Fund on behalf of his late mother, saying, “We donate a sum of N1 billion in honour of our late mum.”

The philanthropic gesture was met with applause and admiration from the congregation.

During the ceremony, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, entertained the crowd with his impressive dance moves, which was a highlight of the event. Notable figures in attendance included Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The donation is a testament to Dr. Adeleke’s commitment to giving back to the community and honouring his late mother’s legacy. As he said, “We will continue to support the church and its activities in any way we can.”
