  • APC in Delta State has condemned the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

  • It stated that it has failed to deliver meaningful initiatives that address the needs of the people.

  • The APC criticized the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu, for his comments on the handling of criticisms against the governor’s response.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has condemned the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, stating that it has failed to deliver meaningful initiatives that address the needs of the people.

The APC strongly criticized the recent comments by the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu, regarding the handling of criticisms against the governor’s lukewarm response towards the state’s infrastructural development.

According to the APC, “Apart from the Effurun flyover project, which every government media hireling now gleefully points to, at any given opportunity, Governor Oborevwori’s administration has failed to deliver any other meaningful projects, and this continues to raise serious concerns among the people of Delta State, who are desperate for real developmental changes.”

The party also stated that the governor’s administration has become increasingly deceptive, hiding behind vague and grandiose promises of future projects rather than taking concrete action today.

The APC urged Charles Aniagwu to adopt a more constructive approach when reacting to criticisms, rather than dismissing valid concerns with empty assurances.

“The people of Delta State deserve a government that is actively working to improve their lives, given the huge financial resources at the disposal of this government, which so far has nothing to show for it,” the party said.

“The APC remains committed to holding the government accountable, and we will continue to fight for progress and the well-being of all Deltans.”
