A member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo has lost his mother, Mama Genegekoro Esther Ebitonmo, Nee Kemefa.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Mama Genegekoro passed away on Tuesday October 31, 2023, following a brief illness at an undisclosed hospital in Warri, Delta State.
She died aged 73.
The lawmaker representing Burutu Constituency I took to his official Facebook page to announce the death of his mother, saying ‘I can’t believe your are gone.’

Friend and families as well as political associates have since condoled with the Minority Whip of the Delta assembly over the incident.
Canopy dropping for Mama Genegokoro will hold on Friday November 3, 2023 at her residence in Ovwian, Udu, Delta State.
Burial arrangements will be announced in a later date.
