I have consulted widely including the Traditional institution, political leaders, opinion leaders, Leaders of Thought, Youth Organizations, market women and others and the outcome is mind blowing leading to today’s formal declaration to inform the people of Warri South West Local Government area of my intention to run for the office of the Chairman of the Local Government.

I have managed both human and none human resources effectively and still in the business of doing so as an entrepreneur. In the past I have served as Secretary and later Chairman of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom Governing Council with visible achievements in the Kingdom. Likewise my immediate community, Ajuju where I served my people to the best of my ability in the challenging monopolized oil industry.

At the party level, I have been entrusted with the task of managing finances at the Ward and Local Government levels where I ensured prudent management of campaign funds to the satisfaction of all and the evidences are there for people to see. I am a successful entrepreneur that have played key roles in the private and public sectors with landmark achievements.

Haven recorded successes in the private and public sectors, I thought it wise to offer myself to serve the people of Warri South West as Chairman of Council and to bring to bear my vast experiences in managing human and none human resources. It is in this regard that I have christened my campaign slogan “Assurance 2024” and I pledge to commit to the following:

1 SECURITY: First, I will take security as a top priority as without security nothing meaningful can be achieved and I intend to engage all critical stakeholders in the Council including the Traditional Institution and especially the Youths. To this end, my Government will open register for unemployed youths with a view of making available information as regards jobs and support to youths that are entrepreneur driven. My Government will support and encourage local vigilantes with patrol vans/boats to carry out 24 hours’ surveillance in the entire Local Government area.

2 ACCOUNTABILITY: My Government will be accountable to the people of Warri South West and to the Government and people of Delta State. This I intend to do with periodic briefing of funds received from the federation account and how such funds were allocated to projects which are visible for the people to see.

3 TRANSPARENCY: My Government will ensure that contracts are awarded to deserving people in line with laydown practices, especially the procurement and fiscal responsibility acts. Projects will be openly tendered and competing bids will be selected based prevailing market forces. In addition, town hall meetings will be called where the people will make input and be part of the Government because the powers I will exercised as Executive chairman truly belongs to you.

4 CONSOLIDATION: There is no gainsaying the fact that Government in the past have been able to do some projects including uncompleted, ongoing or abandoned projects in the Council. It is my intention to see that projects.

6 EMPOWERMENT: The Government within available resources will see to

the welfare of the aged (70 years and above), the women and youths to make them self-sufficient as that is the only way they can contribute to the success story of the Council.

These and others I intend to do if given the opportunity to serve you as the next Council Chairman. Once again, I thank you all for this opportunity to speak to us on things I intend to do for our dear Council.

PDP! POWER TO THE YOUTH!

PDP! POWER TO THE WOMEN!

PDP! POWER TO THE MEN!

PDP! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

A VOTE FOR SAMSON OYIMI, IS A VOTE FOR PEACE, SECURITY AND PROSPERITY
