Actor Denola Grey has weighed in on crossdresser Bobrisky’s recent jail sentence, suggesting that there may be underlying factors beyond the naira abuse charge for which he was convicted.

Following Justice Abimbola Awogboro’s sentencing of Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine for Naira mutilation, Grey expressed his belief that there could be more to the situation than what is apparent.

Grey insinuated that Bobrisky might be serving as a “scapegoat” in the matter, implying that there could be broader implications at play in the sentence.

On his X handle, he wrote: “We all know this isn’t about spraying [Naira]. They are scapegoating her and using this BS as a reason.

“I hate bullies. Unfortunately, this country is full of them.”
