Nollywood actor, Stan Nze has shared how he was not in a good shape of mind when his wedding was fast approaching.

In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Nze said that the records of marriage failure were threatening for he was ready to be committed.

Nze announced that his wife’s disagreement with the idea to keep his marriage a secret till its honeymoon days are completed made things became public.

She insisted that they alter the narrative about failed marriages on the net.

According to the actor, his curiosity was triggered due to his knowledge of different crashed marriages and marital cases around social media.

He also thought it wise to marry someone from the entertainment industry to avoid cases of insecurity.

“I’ve always wanted my family to be private. My marriage was to be under wraps until my honeymoon but my wife insisted we post a photo so we control any coming narrative.

“We’d been together for 3 and a half years. I want my marriage to work. A week before my marriage, I left social media. There was a lot of news on Instagram. Partners were fighting each other. I was palpitating, asking myself if I was ready for marriage.

“These were people I felt were really in love, some even having dated for seven years. I needed to marry someone in the entertainment industry, whether radio, film, or movies. It’s a delicate industry.”
