A die-hard fan of popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has been punished, for allegedly stealing his mum’s phone to send money to him.
According to a video that has made rounds online, the fan, a young boy, reportedly stole his mother’s phone to transfer 1 million naira to Davido just as celebrities and other fans had been doing for the past two days.
Recall that Davido had earlier requested money from any of his fans who had enjoyed any of his hit songs.
In the video, the fan could be seen being punished and told to kneel by a man believed to be his elder brother.
The supposed brother could be heard saying that the money the boy transferred was meant for his school fees.
