Governor Douye Diri on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Douglas Edris who was recently slain by a tricyclist in Yenagoa.
Diri’s spokesman, Daniel Alabrah made this known in a Facebook post.
Alabrah said the governor awarded a scholarship up to university level to the three children left behind by the Yenizue-Epie indigene.

He also offered automatic employment for the wife of the deceased.
Diri authenticated his pronouncement by instructing the Secretary to the State Government to ensure the directive was effected immediately.
This came after the governor restricted tricycle movement in the state capital from 6 am to 7 pm.
Diri had also summoned the waring Hausa community and Yenizue-Epie leaders to a meeting.
