Hon Timiadi Justice Akuna, a frontline aspirant for the 2023 Burutu North seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, has formally declared his intention to run in the contest.
Akuna made the declaration before the Burutu Ward 11 PDP caucus, on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Timi highlighted his readiness to change the face of Burutu North in the area of good representation and all-around development.

He further solicited the prayers and support of the Ward 11 Caucus as he embarks on his quest to represent Burutu North in the State Assembly.
Speaking at the event, Chief Evans Etimigba, the Ward 11 PDP caucus chairman expressed his profound joy, wishing Hon Timiadi a great success, and declared an unreserved support from the caucus and appointed the eldest member of the caucus, Barrister Ikporukpo to pray for the aspirant.
The event which took place at the Teebilus Hotel, Warri, was attended by PDP ward 11 caucus members chaired by Chief Evans Etimigba, Hon (Chief) Combolous Ikisa, Vice Chairman Burutu LGA, Hon Moses Agbobulagha, Ward 11 PDP chairman, Hon Shedrack Agediga, ED PRS DESOPADEC, Chief Sunny Sebastian Gbegha, Hon Isaiah Tam Ingo, Chief Francis Boumiebi, Hon Tom Ebiakpo Willy, Comr Solomon Gbegha, Ward 11 PDP executives, Caucus working committee, state government appointees, members of Hon Timiadi Campaign team and a host of others.
The Burutu North Constituency seat is currently occupied Asupa Forteta, who defeated an incumbent candidate, Dan Yingi, in the 2015 election.
