DTHA Minority Whip, Alapala Takes Thank You Tour to Constituents | Daily Report Nigeria

Member representing Burutu Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Amb. Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo on Saturday embarked on a Thank You tour across four Units in the constituency.

The tour is sequel to Alapala’s victory at the February 3 rerun election, which took place in Oboro Unit 9, Ayakoromor Unit 8, Enekerogha Unit 26 and Edegbene Unit 27.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Asupa Forteta of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to clinch the seat.

The Minority Chief Whip thanked the people for their unwavering support throughout the electioneering periods, and for turning out en mass to vote for him.

“I am here to fulfil part of my campaign promises, to thank my constituents for coming out en mass to return me to the House of Assembly. I am like the one leper who returned to give thanks to Jesus Christ,” Alapala said.

Quizzed on the expectations on his office, the lawmaker said;

“They should expect better things from government. I’m their mouthpiece today and I’ll ensure that whatever is meant for the six wards that I represent, gets to them. Nothing will be missing. I’ll try to all my best to liaise with all stratas of government to see that good things are done in my constituency,” he added.

The constituents in their numbers expressed confidence in Alapala’s capabilities to deliver quality representation to them.
