Edo Jail Break: Police Re-arrest Four Escaped Prisoners | Daily Report Nigeria

About Four (4) prisoners who escaped from the Oko Prison in Edo state during the #EndSARS crisis have been re-arrested by the police.

The suspects were paraded at the Nigerian Police Force Tactical Unit in Abuja, alongside others arrested for other offences.

The re-arrested prisoners have been identified as Adebayo Opeyemi, Frank Odion, Hudu Musa, and Oloride Benjamin.

While Mr Musa had nine (9) months remaining to serve out his prison term, Mr Benjamin was convicted and sentenced to death and Mr Opeyemi a dismissed soldier.

The suspects were also learnt to have snatched four vehicles during their escape,

Mr Benjamin in particular had snatched a vehicle 30mins after he escaped as he needed it to leave Benin city.
