Nottingham Forest confirmed they ended Emmanuel Dennis’s contract, bringing his three-year stint at the City Ground to a close.

The club added:

“We wish Emmanuel well for the future.”

Forest signed the 27-year-old from Watford in 2022 for about £10m on a five-year deal after his strong 2021–22 season, which included a Premier League Player of the Month nomination.

However, Dennis struggled to secure a regular spot.

Instead, he spent much of his time out on loan – İstanbul Başakşehir, a return to Watford, and Blackburn Rovers – moves that repeatedly disrupted his chance to rebuild form.
