Amidst the ongoing protests across the country by Nigerians calling for the reform of the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Senate on Tuesday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to address the nation on the ongoing protests by the Nigerian youths mainly.

The Senate also ordered the Nigeria Police to secure #EndSARS protesters from hoodlums who obviously are now hijacking the real motives of the protests.

The decision by the Senate was sequel to the Point of Order by Senator Biodun Olujimi, tagged “#EndSARS: The Need For a Comprehensive Reform”.

The lawmakers meanwhile urged the aggrieved protesters to stop the ongoing protests while the Federal Government address their demands.
