The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry instituted to address police brutality and other excesses has been abruptly suspended following the freezing of the bank account of one of the youth representatives by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Daily Report Nigeria earlier reported the CBN obtaining a court order to freeze the bank accounts of Bolatito Rachael Oduala alongside 19 others over their roles in the heat of the #ENDSARS protest.

Oduala happens to be on the Lagos panel as a youth representative, and withdrew from the sitting today in protest against the move by the CBN, forcing the panel to adjourn it’s sitting for a week.
