The English journalist, Piers Morgan, has blasted Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich over confirmation that he was surrendering the care and stewardship of his football club.
The 55-year-old businessman revealed his decision of handing over the assets to the Blues’ Charitable Foundation.
He made the revelation via a statement on Saturday where he also disclosed how and why he would put the stewardship and care of Chelsea in it’s charitable foundation.
The Russian politician held that the foundation was in the best position to take proper care of the assets.

Abramovich’s decision followed the accusation that he’s having connections with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
Morgan who is a year older than Abramovich has therefore, knocked Abramovich while he also asked him to express strong disapproval of Putin’s actions without any delay.
Morgan tweeted: “Where is the condemnation of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine?”
“If Abramovich really wants to prove he’s not a Putin puppet, he should denounce the war loudly and clearly. But he won’t…..”
