Chelsea today cruised to a derby win over London rivals, Tottenham Hotspurs with the scoreline 2-0.

Thomas Tuchel’s men ended their League’s four-match winless run against the Spurs at the Stamford Bridge.

The victory becomes the Blues’ third January triumph over Antonio Conte’s citizens.

In the game, the Blues emerged the better team from start to finish and sure enough, were worthy of the three points.

Thanks to the wonderful strike from the former Ajax star, Hakim Ziyech which gave Chelsea after a goalless first-half draw.

Callum Hudson-Odoi provided the assist which gave the Blues the lead two minutes to the second half.

The aged ex-Paris Saint-German’s defender, Thiago Silva strengthened the lead with a header through Mason Mount’s free kick.

Meanwhile, Tottenham were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Tuchel’s team.

Chelsea have already belted them 2-0 in the first leg of the tournament which took place at the Stamford Bridge before another 1-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspurs’ stadium on the 12th of January.

Following the victory, the third-placed Chelsea have extended their lead ahead of Tottenham with 11 points.
