According to the UK Times, Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen, is now on the verge of making a sensational return to the Premier League this week.
The 29-year-old has not returned to action since Euro 2020 when he suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest while on international duty against Finland.
Erikson is now a free agent following the termination of his contract by his formal club, Inter Milan.

The medical rules in Italian football have barred Eriksen from continuing to play in the Serie ‘A’ until the ImplantableCardioverter-Defibrillator, ICD implanted in his body is removed.
However, he’ll be allowed to continue his football career outside of the league.

Meanwhile, few giant clubs in the English Premier League have shown interest in the ex-Ajax star and he could make a U-turn to England this week.
Recall, Erikson left Tottenham Hotspurs for La Beneamata in 2020.
He has left a mark at the Spurs having scored 69 goals and 90 assists in 305 appearances.
He has also played 60 times in total for the Black and Blues, scored eight goals, and won Serie A with them last season.
Spurs manager, Antonio Conte, has already said he was welcome back at the club.
