Manchester United may face punishment for their wrongful conduct in their Premier League tie against Brighton on Tuesday night.

The Football Association (FA) made the disclosure on Wednesday, 16th.

The Red Devils defeated Brighton in a 2-0 victory with goals from Christiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes.

Ralph Rangnick’s men furiously faced referee Peter Bankes, who had initially shown Lewis Dunk (Brighton defender) a yellow card for pulling down Anthony Elanga’s shoulder in the 54th minute.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese midfielder, Fernandes was booked a yellow card for his complaints.

After reviewing the game due to the VAR’s intervention, the English referee had to switch Dunk’s originally given yellow to a red card.

United now have until Monday to respond to the charge that their players did not conduct themselves properly during the game.
