Manchester City has strongly criticized the ill-treatment Phil Foden and his family suffered while off stage at a boxing match between Amir Khan and Kell Brook on Saturday, 19th.
Fracas ensued between unknown members of the public and another group including the 21-year-old player at the AO Arena in Manchester in evening.
Meanwhile, the video footage of the brawl was released on social media eventually.

Pep Guardiola’s team yesterday reacted to the abuse via a statement: “The club is aware of a video which has circulated on social media showing Phil Foden and his family being harassed and abused.”
“We are shocked and appalled about the nature of the abuse and ensuing assault on one of Phil’s family members.”

The club added: “We will continue to give Phil and his family all the support and assistance they need.”
The England international attended the competition after being in action throughout the 90 minutes of the Cityzens’ League 3-2 loss to Spurs at Etihad Stadium earlier on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Brook had won the bout convincingly by sixth-round stoppage.
