Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has clarified that Casemiro did not leave Old Trafford immediately after being substituted at half-time during their Premier League loss to Liverpool on Sunday.

Casemiro was largely blamed for Liverpool’s first two goals, both scored by Luis Diaz. The Brazilian midfielder was taken off at the break and replaced by Toby Collyer.

Later, footage surfaced suggesting that Casemiro had left Old Trafford while the match was still in progress.

However, Erik Ten Hag refuted those claims in his post-match press conference, stating, “I saw him in the dressing room after the game, so he didn’t leave the stadium at half-time.”
