Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has described the upcoming season as a “survival of the fittest.”

Despite missing out on a top-four finish last season, Ten Hag’s side won the FA Cup by defeating Manchester City.

The manager has strengthened the squad with the additions of Lenny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, who are set to play in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal.

Erik Ten Hag emphasized the importance of squad depth, stating, “We need to minimize injuries and have a squad that can handle the demands of the season. Last year, we proved we can beat the best teams, but our goal is to do so consistently.”
